Chad has served as a deacon since 2025. He also teaches and plays guitar with the worship team.

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. - John 16:33

Ron began serving as a deacon at Hopewell in April 2024 and counts it a great honor to serve in this role. He loves God, his family, and his church family, and especially treasures time with his three grandchildren. Ron and his wife have been married for nearly 30 years and are thankful for the life and ministry God has given them together.

Dwight Vangilder is a long time resident of Rector Arkansas and a decon at Hopewell missionary Baptist Church

Bill has loved the Lord since he was a young man and has been a faithful part of Hopewell for many years. He has served as a deacon since 2003, after first feeling deeply unworthy of the role. Bill is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loves God with his whole heart and cares deeply for his family and church family.
